Digital Blog Post #C - Chapter 5 & Chapter 7

I created an assessment on what I thought were key concepts from the two chapters via FlipQuiz. Here:

Alternatively here is a link to the quiz, as I think the embedding looks kind of wonky.

I chose concepts that I thought students might not be too familiar with, like software alternatives or information site relevancy. I should also say that I hope this assessment is satisfactory, as I really was not sure on how to include the information while also testing on it.

I myself don't use a lot of alternative software programs, as I'd rather just stick with what I know. I did once use GIMP image editor (one of the answers on the board) and actually liked it a lot. In relation to the board, I also put some trick questions up that I thought would be, well, tricky! I probably wouldn't give this as an actual quiz mind you, more of a review. That is quite an idea though, actually using FlipQuiz to administer a quiz...perhaps I'll do just someday. The use of this program for review a sure bet however, as it's perfect for group teamwork and student attentiveness. Well, I'll fiddle with the format more in the coming days, and compare it to other similar programs I've used before. I'm sure it will become a valuable resource!

Here is a video on FlipQuiz:
